Fill out a membership application (available at the Center or on-line) and bring cash or a check payable to MIT DAPER to the Fitness Center.
Yes. Our staff of certified fitness trainers is available to help you with cardio equipment, weight equipment, and stretching. Appointments are required one week in advance.
Outside enthusiasts can take advantage of the Center's lined half-court basketball area. Basketballs are available for sign-out at the front desk. Structured league play in a 3-on-3 format is also offered during the summer months for all levels of ability.
A beach volleyball court (with sand and net) is available for recreational use behind Annex 3. League play is conducted from spring until fall in several formats with all levels of ability welcome.
Walkers will enjoy the facility's quarter-mile nature walk adjacent to the volleyball court and picnic area. The walking path loops through the woods and is an ideal midday stress reducer.
The volleyball and basketball leagues, as well as the walking path, are open to all Lincoln Laboratory employees. Membership is not required for participation.
A schedule of classes is available Online and classes are free to members.
The fitness facility has towel service, showers, transient lockers, and vending machines. A multipurpose room is available for wellness seminars and supplementary fitness activities.
