James H. McClellan DSP Laboratory School of Electrical and Computer Engineering Georgia Institute of Technology Atlanta, GA 30332-0250 email: mcclella@eedsp.gatech.edu Abstract Methods of multidimensional filtering and spectrum estimation provide a general framework for wideband array processing. One benefit of this view has always been that we discover new techniques by looking for algorithms from seemingly unrelated areas. Examples drawn from geophysics, as well as radar, illustrate how diverse signal processing techniques have been utilized in the wideband case. This presentation describes the particular case of dispersion measurement in acoustic wave processing. |
