Eric Burcsu

Dr. Eric Burcsu is an assistant leader in the Systems and Architectures Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. In this role, he leads a variety of efforts sponsored by the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the U.S. Army. He joined the Laboratory in 2001 in the Systems and Analysis Group where he worked in the areas of air vehicle survivability, air defense, and electronic warfare for the U.S. Air Force. He became Assistant Group Leader of the Systems and Analysis Group in 2013 before moving to the Systems and Architectures Group in 2016. He received a BS degree in aerospace engineering from North Carolina State University in 1996. He studied aeronautics at the California Institute of Technology and received an MS degree in 1997 and a PhD degree in 2001.
