Julie Caswell

Julie Caswell is the information technology (IT) manager for the Air, Missile, and Maritime Defense Technology Division at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. She is responsible for all IT activity across the entire division’s IT portfolio.

Caswell joined Lincoln Laboratory in 2003, working on the server team in a group that became the Information Services Department. In 2008, she joined the Intelligence, Test, and Evaluation Group as a Unix/Linux system administrator. In 2011, Caswell transitioned to the Airborne Radar Systems and Techniques Group. In this role, she served as a team lead, coordinating with four other system administrators supporting various efforts in the unclassified, collateral, and program spaces. Caswell became Assistant IT Manager of the Air, Missile, and Maritime Defense Technology Division in 2016 and was promoted to Division IT Manager in 2018. Caswell received her BS degree in computer science from the University of Massachusetts and MS degree in IT management from Franklin Pierce University.
