MIT Lincoln Laboratory encourages staff to become involved in professional societies that advance their career development and to explore activities that enhance a work-life balance. Special Interest/Professional Groups

  • Concert Committee—a group dedicated to bringing onsite noontime concerts featuring a broad range of musical styles to the Laboratory community
  • Birds of a Feather—a group of professionals interested in learning more about technical communications, graphics, publishing, and associated subjects
  • Lincoln Laboratory Toastmasters Club—an onsite chapter of the international Toastmasters Club that specializes in improving members' presentation and leadership skills
  • Dance Interest Group—Employees in the group coordinate free dance lessons several times each year. These lessons are typically held at the Fitness Center at the Laboratory and include sessions in salsa, East Coast swing, and cha-cha.
