It is our pleasure to announce the Fourth Annual Integrated Sensing & Decision Support (ISDS) Workshop to be hosted by MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, Massachusetts, on 10–11 April 2007.
The objective of this workshop series is to share project and technology advancements with the ISDS community. To foster this goal and highlight ISR system needs, the theme of this year’s workshop is “Building Shared Awareness.” The workshop Technical Committee has solicited presentations and demonstrations from military operational commands, the National Intelligence Community, industry, and academia. Last year’s ISDS Workshop generated much interest and information exchange within the Integrated Sensing & Decision Support community. The 2007 ISDS Workshop promises to be just as engaging. We invite you to submit an abstract and look forward to your participation.
Submission Details
Presentations on innovative ISDS technology and architecture advances, as well as live system demonstrations, are solicited by this Call for Presentations. The Workshop will consist of both unclassified and classified presentations covering, but not limited to, the following topics:
- Sensor constellations & swarm architectures
- New multimode sensor technologies
- Multisensor tasking & resource management
- Multi-INT exploitation
- Behavior patterns & anomaly detection algorithms
- Automated or assisted data correlation & fusion
- ISR information & knowledge management
- Situational awareness, indications, and warnings
- Novel approaches to data mining of ISR products
- Persistent surveillance architectures
- National, joint & service ISDS concepts of operations
- ISR operational “Lessons Learned”
- Field & simulated experimentation activities
- Conceptual systems, algorithms, or approaches
Authors are invited to submit a short, unclassified abstract (300 words or less) for a 25-minute oral presentation or a live system demonstration. All submissions will be competitively reviewed and judged on their technical merit, novelty, and relevance to ISDS.
| The workshop will be conducted at the SECRET level and will include both classified and unclassified presentations. Since the presentations will be published in the workshop proceedings, speakers are asked to prepare charts of the highest quality in electronic format. |
