Stephen W. Boyer is a Technical Staff member of the Information Systems Technology Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Stephen received a B.S. in Computer Science from Brigham Young University in 2001 and is continuing postgraduate studies in Computer Science and System Design at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Lincoln Laboratory, Stephen worked at Caldera (currently known as SCO) from 1999 to 2001 designing, developing, and testing a variety of products ranging from modifications and enhancements the Java Virtual Machine to the development of diagnostic tools for a distributed software and configuration management system.

Stephen's most recent professional activities at Lincoln Laboratory have focused on computer and network security with a particular emphasis on research, development, and evaluation of next generation correlation technology for intrusion detection systems.
