Jason Duncan is a staff member in the Information Systems Technology Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. His current research interests broadly include human language technology and natural language processing, with a focus on entity and relation extraction from unstructured data sources. Prior to joining Lincoln Laboratory in 2008, he performed research on entity and relation extraction while working as a computational linguist for the U.S. Department of Defense from 2001-2008. He received the B.A. degree in Spanish from the University of Virginia in 1991, the M.A. degree in Spanish Linguistics from Pennsylvania State University in 1997, and the Ph.D. degree in Spanish Linguistics from Pennsylvania State University in 2004.
