Robert B. Dunn received the B.S. degree (summa cum laude) from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts in 1991, and the S.M. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1995.

He is currently a member of the technical staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Lexington, Massachusetts. He joined the Information Systems Technology (IST) Group of Lincoln Laboratory in 1991 where he has been active in the development of digital signal processing algorithms for speech and audio applications including underwater sound enhancement, speech compression, and speaker recognition. Beginning in 1997 he spent two years with Voxware Inc., Princeton, New Jersey developing speech compression algorithms for VoIP applications. In 1999 he returned to the IST group at Lincoln Laboratory to work on development of algorithms for speaker recognition and tracking. His current focus is in the areas of speech and audio enhancement, speech modification and robust speaker recognition.
