Michael N. Gagnon is an Associate Staff member of the Information Systems Technology Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Michael received a B.S. in Computer Science from George Mason University (GMU) in 2007.  While a student at GMU, Michael interned at Science Applications International Corporation, the Institute for Defense Analyses, and GMU’s Center for Secure Information Systems.   His undergraduate research focused on software protection, anti-reverse engineering, and virtual-machine-monitor fingerprinting.

At Lincoln Laboratory, Michael is currently investigating the security of distributed-intrusion-detection-and-response systems designed for mobile ad-hoc networks.
