Pedro A. Torres-Carrasquillo received the B.S. degree from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez in 1992, the M.S. degree from Ohio State University in 1995, and the Ph.D. degree from Michigan State University in 2002, all in electrical engineering. From March 1995 to June 1998, he was an instructor at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. In July 2002, he joined the Information Systems Technology Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory as a member of the technical staff working in the areas of language and speaker identification. He is a member of the IEEE and Tau Beta Pi.
