Aakash Shah is a member of the Information Systems Technology Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He is currently involved in research on software-based anti-tamper and trusted boot. His research interests broadly encompass network and systems security, with a particular interest in anti-tamper, trusted computing and applied cryptography.
Aakash received a M.S. in Information Security from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in May 2008 where he was awarded the Pradeep K. Khosla Leadership Award. His Masters thesis focused on software-based mechanisms to provide integrity in critical infrastructure devices. Prior to CMU, Aakash conducted research on information security for critical infrastructure systems and helped develop a cryptographic protocol to secure serial SCADA networks.
