Ms. Sarah Chmielewski is an associate technical staff member in the Cyber System Assessments Group. Ms. Chmielewski joined Lincoln Laboratory in 2011, and became a team member of the software development effort for the Lincoln Adaptable Real-Time Information Assurance Testbed (LARIAT).
Prior to joining Lincoln Laboratory, Ms. Chmielewski served as a Senior Software Engineer for BAE Systems and was responsible for implementing planning control algorithms for an unmanned aerial vehicle mission planner. Ms. Chmielewski also served as a Research Engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Panama City, and was responsible for developing planning algorithms for unmanned ground vehicles and for controlling experiments with autonomous underwater vehicles. In 2009, Ms. Chmielewski was elected Region Senator for the Society of Women Engineers and served in this position for two terms. From 2011-2012, Ms. Chmielewski was elected President of the Boston Section of the Society of Women Engineers.
Ms. Chmielewski received a B.S. degree in computer engineering with high honors from the University of Florida and a M.S. degree in computer science with an emphasis in software engineering from Florida State University.
