Andrew Johnson is an associate technical staff member in the Cyber Systems and Technology Group. He joined MIT Lincoln Laboratory in 2006, and spent his first few years working on algorithm design and modeling and simulation for ballistic missile defense. He moved to the Cyber Systems and Technology group in 2010. His recent work focuses on programming-language-based security and on making the writing of secure systems easier and faster using state of the art program analyses.
Mr. Johnson is currently working toward a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Harvard University. He holds a Masters degree in engineering science from Harvard University and a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Michigan.
