Mr. Terry Gleason is currently an associate staff member of the Human Language Technology Group. He joined MIT Lincoln Laboratory in 1989 to work on network expert systems, using his expertise in networking and artificial intelligence gained from earlier work at the MITRE and Unisys corporations.

More recently he has worked in a variety of speech technology areas, including keyword and topic spotting, pattern recognition, machine translation, and dialect and language recognition.

From 1978 to 1980 he was an instructor in the Department Computer Science at Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral while a Peace Corp volunteer in Ecuador.

Mr. Gleason received the B.S. degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota.
