High Performance Embedded Computing (HPEC) 2008 Workshop is set for 23–25 September

HPEC LogoThe Twelfth Annual HPEC Workshop will be held from 23 to 25 September at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, Massachusetts.

The workshop will give U.S. government-funded researchers from academia, industry, and government an opportunity to discuss techniques, approaches, and ongoing developments with relevance to real-time embedded computing and related military applications. The HPEC 2008 theme is “Multicore open systems architectures and their impact on Department of Defense HPEC systems.”

Presentations at the workshop will address topics such as advanced multicore software technology, mapping and scheduling of parallel and real-time applications, computing technologies for challenging form factors, fault-tolerant computing, and advanced codesign techniques.
