Robotics Outreach at Lincoln Laboratory seeks to drive students towards math, science, and engineering by engaging students in robotics and similar hands-on activities while fostering curiosity and a sense of accomplishment.

Lincoln Laboratory Weekend Robotics Workshops

ROLL has developed a full-immersion weekend robotics workshop for 9th and 10th grade children of Laboratory employees. This workshop will eventually be open to children in the local area.

Robotics Outreach at Lincoln Laboratory (ROLL) mentors and coaches students in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics competitions. Competitions are divided into the FIRST Technical Challenge (FTC) competition and the FIRST Lego League (FLL) competition. Lincoln Laboratory sponsored four robotic teams in the FIRST competitions. Below are assorted photos of the various teams planning and building their robots, as well as photos from the competitions.
