The produce from over-abundant gardens can now be brought in to Lincoln Laboratory for donation to “Food For Free.” Food For Free is a charitable organization that responds to local hunger by rescuing fresh food that might otherwise go to waste and distributing it within the emergency food system where it can reach those in need. For more information, see the Food For Free web site. Donation boxes are located in the alcove to the left of the Cafeteria entrance (follow the signs). Food donations will be accepted on Monday and Tuesday of every week, beginning 7 August. (Food For Free will pick up the food on Wednesdays.)
