Ms. Kim Hebert is currently a member of the IT Services Team focusing on Cyber System Test Bed Architecture and Life Cycle Design. Since joining the Laboratory, she has engaged in many activities, from the management of the Lincoln Research Network Operation Center (LRNOC) to providing system-engineering services, focusing her test design/skill on satellite systems, LARIAT implementations, or Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative (CNCI) cyber security systems.

While serving in U.S. Air Force, Ms. Hebert's Special Duty Assignment application to the White House Communication Agency was accepted. She was promoted to the position of Secure Voice/Data Systems Team Lead, where she managed a team of up to six personnel; Ms. Hebert was responsible for the tactical installation and maintenance of secure voice/data systems used by the President of the United States and staff.

Upon completion of her enlistment, Ms. Hebert joined the UUNET team in 1995.  Whether at the central office/co-location upgrading the AS701 internet backbone, coordinating logistical support for future installations, or implementing strategies to offer Secure VPN technologies, her technical knowledge, time management and leadership abilities helped get the ISP's products to market.  This product engineering and product marketing experience was then used across the product line of Intrusion Prevention Systems at Corero Network Security, nee Top Layer Security.

Prior to Lincoln Laboratory, she served with a team responsible for the network design and network security enhancements of multiple AN/USQ-163 Falconer Air and Space Operations Centers (AOCs).
