Mr. Brandon Matthews is an associate staff member of the Cyber Systems and Operations Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He works on projects involving adaptive network sensors, data analysis and extraction, and hardware acceleration. His current focus is to enhance cyber situational awareness, improve operational decision capabilities, and support network information visualization.

Prior to joining the Laboratory, he worked as an electronics engineer and flight test instrumentation lead for a private defense contractor. His focus areas included FPGA design, airborne and ground-based radar design, and flight test instrumentation.

Mr. Matthews received a BS degree in electrical engineering from Morgan State University in 2007 and MS degree in electrical engineering in 2009. His academic research areas were the design of gallium nitride field effect transistors and the implementation of neural networks on FPGAs.
