Benjamin Nahill joined Lincoln Laboratory in 2014 and is an associate staff member in the Secure Resilient Systems and Technology Group, specializing in secure hardware and embedded systems. He works on solving problems in secure processing and data protection, leveraging novel hardware architectures. Prior to joining the Laboratory, Mr. Nahill worked in a variety of domains, including embedded system design in resource-constrained environments, low-power RF, satellite communications, and signal processing for a wide variety of applications.

Mr. Nahill received a BEng degree in computer engineering in 2010 and an MEng degree in electrical engineering in 2013, both from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. His research focus throughout his academic career was on embedded systems design and modeling for safety-critical medical systems and on signal processing for multisensor systems and speech. This research work included developing a variety of new techniques to reduce power consumption in hard real-time systems and improving schedulability of wait-free resource sharing in multicore systems.
