Benjamin Price is a member of the Cyber Analytics and Decision Systems Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Since joining the Laboratory in 2011, he has contributed to and led evaluation programs in malware analysis and cryptography. Most recently, he has been involved in capture-the-flag competitions as a part of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Cyber Grand Challenge, a capture-the-flag competition for completely autonomous competitors, designed to improve the state of the art in automated software defense.

Prior to joining the Laboratory, Mr. Price worked at BiogenIdec, the Boston Stock Exchange, Accenture, and EMC2 in the areas of compliance, automated, real-time, complex-event monitoring, information technology, software testing, and system analysis. In addition to analyzing, and evaluating systems, his interests include machine learning, system analysis, metric development, and the study of the fundamental principles governing complex computer systems.

Mr. Price holds degrees in both computer science and biology: an MS degree from Tufts University and a BA degree from Boston University, respectively.
