Mr. John Wilkinson is Leader of the Cyber System Assessments Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He is responsible for managing research and experimentation in the area of cyber-kinetic systems for air and missile defense, including development of cyber capabilities and red-teaming Department of Defense weapon systems.

Mr. Wilkinson has been a researcher in air and missile defense technology since 1998, when he joined Lincoln Laboratory as a member of the technical staff in the Sensor Systems and Measurements Group. He has made contributions to technical intelligence collection, missile defense system test and evaluation, and radar system engineering. In 2006, Mr. Wilkinson became a member of the Air Defense Techniques Group, and in 2011 he served as an Assistant Leader of that group. He then moved to the Cyber System Assessments Group as an Assistant Leader.

Mr. Wilkinson holds a BS degree in physics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and an MS degree in electrical engineering from Tufts University.
