Dr. Arkady B. Yerukhimovich is a technical staff member in the Secure Resilient Systems and Technology Group. Since joining MIT Lincoln Laboratory in 2011, he has worked on a range of projects aimed at bringing tools from theoretical cryptography into practice. Specifically, his research focuses on using techniques such as secure multiparty computation, functional encryption, and cryptographically protected search in the design and optimization of practical secure computation in cloud-based and distributed systems.

Dr. Yerukhimovich received a BS degree in computer science from Brown University in 2003 and an MS degree in computer science from the University of Maryland in 2008. He earned a PhD degree in computer science from the University of Maryland in 2011, under the supervision of Professor Jonathan Katz. His graduate research focused on understanding the limitations of standard cryptographic techniques and assumptions.
