Brian M. Tyrrell

Brian M. TyrrellMr. Brian M. Tyrrell is a technical staff member in the Chemical, Microsystem and Nanoscale Technologies Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He has recently focused on the development of low-SWaP, low-latency and high-bandwidth sensors, and has served as the principal investigator for a number of efforts based on new methods of on-focal-plane computation. 

Mr. Tyrrell is a senior member of the IEEE and has authored or coauthored numerous papers and conference presentations related to integrated circuit design and fabrication, extreme environment effects, and sensor technology. His work in these areas has resulted in ten U.S. patents.

Mr. Tyrrell received a BSE degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and the SM degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
