Girls Who Build Wearable Technology ─ Online Course

The Girls Who Build Wearable Technology online course guides students on how to use computer science, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering to make their own wearable technology.
This course provides instructions for programming a wearable circuit board that measures resistance from a pressure-sensitive conductive sheet in the heel of the shoe. When resistance changes, red lights are triggered.

The Girls Who Build Wearable Technology course consists of two major hands-on projects in manufacturing wearable electronics. These include programming LEDs (applied on shoes) to light up when walking. Participants learn the design process in addition to writing code and building a circuit. This course can be completed in one day.
