Nation’s largest transit agency launches study with Homeland Security and MIT.

Paul Berger reports on a partnership between New York and the Department of Homeland Security and MIT to study how to reduce the spread of the new coronavirus on buses and trains. Meghan Ramsey, a researcher at Lincoln Laboratory who is leading the study, said the idea is to measure contamination in the air and on surfaces to understand the relative risk of contracting the virus and the efficacy of mitigation methods.
