LLCipher

MIT Main Campus 300 Technology Square Cambridge, Massachusetts.

LLCipher is one-week program introducing high school juniors and seniors to theoretical cryptography, a topic intersecting math and computer science. Students discover examples of blockchains, public key encryption, and different crypto-schemes. They see examples of flawed cryptography to understand how easily it can be broken. One lesson involves creating an online platform that includes challenges in two different cryptosystems to allow students to apply the theory. The goal of this workshop is to increase interest in taking computer science in college.
