CBI & eAPP
Complete your Commercial Background Investigation (CBI) and submit your eAPP (SF86). These actions are required to ensure your CBI is adjudicated before your start date. You will be notified by Human Resources when your CBI is adjudicated, and your start date will be confirmed at that time. Contact Personnel Security Services at (781) 981-0933 for more information.
New Hire Documents
Prior to your start date, complete the new employee online documents linked in your Welcome Letter. These are forms are required and once completed, your employee record will be created in our system. Contact us at [email protected] for more information.

I-9 Documentation
On your first day, please be certain to bring identification(s) that will satisfy the I-9 requirement documenting your eligibility to work in the United States. A valid Real-ID or U.S. passport/U.S. passport card are preferred. All sufficient forms of identification are listed on the I-9 form on page two.
Dress Code
MIT Lincoln Laboratory does not have a formal dress code. Most employees wear business casual attire in alignment with the Laboratory’s culture. Facilities, technical, and operational staff should wear clothing appropriate for their work environment, including any required safety gear.
Dining Options
Onsite dining is available through Sodexo, which accommodates dietary restrictions. Card payments only—cash not accepted.
