In recognition of International Day of Women and Girls in Science, NATO is highlighting outstanding experts from NATO and other partner countries who work to address security challenges through science and technology. One of these experts is Stephanie Foster, a technical staff member at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. Foster led the technical team that adapted and deployed the Next-Generation Incident Command System (NICS) to meet the crisis management needs of four countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and the Republic of North Macedonia.
