Getting to the Office
Directions:
MIT Lincoln Laboratory is located in Lexington, Massachusetts, approximately 14 miles northwest of Boston and Logan International Airport.

- PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to access Lincoln Laboratory from Hanscom Air Force Base. All visitors must arrive through the Wood Street gate. Please proceed to the gate via Hartwell Ave to Wood Street, or route 2A to Old Massachusetts Ave to Wood Street.
- Photo identification for all vehicle occupants must be shown at the MIT Lincoln Laboratory Main Gate

Lincoln Laboratory’s main facility in Lexington is accessible to the MBTA subway/bus system. MBTA schedules, routes, maps, and fare information can be found on their website.
We also operate a free shuttle service for employees between the MIT campus in Cambridge and the main Laboratory facility in Lexington. Please contact to [email protected] request schedule information.
Parking:
New hires may park in a “First Day New Hire” space reserved within our visitor parking lot on their first day of employment. Please be on the lookout for this designated parking. Should you have questions, feel free to ask a security guard.
Front Desk Check-In Procedures:
Upon arrival, proceed to the main lobby and check in at the front desk. A representative from the Human Resources Department will greet you in the lobby when you arrive. In the event of severe weather, please visit www.ll.mit.edu/status to check if the Laboratory is open. Any emergency or weather-related closures will also be displayed in a banner at the top of the website.
