Sal Ieni

Sal Ieni-Equipment Manager for the Microelectronics Laboratory

Sal Ieni is the equipment manager of Lincoln Laboratory's Microelectronics Laboratory, where he currently oversees all equipment engineering and maintenance activities, including equipment installations and service contract management.

Ieni has more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He has held positions including equipment technician, engineer, supervisor, and manager. His experience spans multiple semiconductor process equipment disciplines. He has worked for various semiconductor manufacturers, including Texas Instruments and Unitrode, and he has been the primary equipment and process engineer for a startup company.

Ieni holds a BS degree in business administration from Mount Washington/Hesser College and an associate's degree in electronic technologies from the Community College of Rhode Island.
