Theodoros Tsiligkaridis

Dr. Theo Tsiligkaridis is a senior staff member in the Artificial Intelligence Technology Group. He received his BSc degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, an MSc degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and he completed his PhD degree in electrical engineering and computer science with a minor in mathematics at the University of Michigan. He worked with the U.S. Army Research Laboratory and IBM Research during his graduate studies. His dissertation research focused on developing separable representations and performance bounds for high-dimensional statistical inference and network-controlled sensing. He is also a lecturer at Harvard University and a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Tsiligkaridis has contributed research in areas including machine learning, statistical signal processing, information theory, wireless communications, and network science. His current research interests include robust and trustworthy deep learning, statistical machine learning and data science with applications to biomedical informatics, computer vision, and spatiotemporal data analysis.
