Andrea D. Scouras

Andrea Scouras is a technical staff member in the Structural and Thermal-Fluids Engineering Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. She specializes in thermal management and complex system packaging for high-power systems and devices, with most of her experience at the Laboratory in cooling laser systems with challenging size, weight, and power requirements.

Prior to joining Lincoln Laboratory in 2015, Scouras was a member of the Systems and Equipment Engineering Group at Westinghouse Electric Company, where she performed fluid systems analysis supporting the commercial nuclear reactor fleet.

Scouras holds BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is an Associate Fellow of the American institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and a Senior Member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
