Formal portrait of Pamela Evans

Dr. Pamela R. Evans is an assistant head in the Space Systems and Technology Division at MIT Lincoln Laboratory where she leads architecture analysis within the space mission area. She began her career at Lincoln Laboratory performing modeling and design of antennas and arrays for air defense radar systems as a technical staff member. She subsequently worked on a broad range of problems, including the evaluation of ballistic missile defense algorithms, the design and assessment of new foliage penetrating radar concepts, and the development of advanced ground moving target indication algorithms for airborne radar. Evans recently led the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Systems and Architectures Group, where her portfolio focused on modeling and analysis of future ISR strike and air superiority architectures. She holds a BS degree from the University of Massachusetts, an MS degree from the University of Michigan, and a PhD from the University of Massachusetts, all in electrical engineering. Evans is currently serving as a member of the Department of the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board
