Brian M. Tyrrell
Brian M. Tyrrell is an assistant leader of the Quantum Information and Integrated Nanosystems Group. In recent years, his research interests have included the development of low-size, weight, and power (SWaP) systems; low-latency and high-bandwidth sensors; near-sensor computation; and extreme environment electronics.
Tyrrell is a senior member of the IEEE and has authored or coauthored numerous papers and conference presentations related to integrated circuit design and fabrication, radiation effects, and sensor technology. His work in these areas has resulted in thirteen U.S. patents.
Tyrrell received a BSE degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an SM degree in electrical engineering from MIT.
