Consuelo G. Cuevas is an assistant staff member at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology Group. Her current research interests include developing deep learning AI and building ethical, fair, robust, and explainable frameworks, as well as systems and applications of AI for social good. Since joining the Laboratory, Cuevas has developed synthetic weather radar computer vision models, natural language processing models, and fair and robust machine learning model auditing frameworks for biomedical AI applications. She joined Lincoln Laboratory in 2020 as part of the Air Traffic Control Systems Group. Alongside her technical work, Cuevas is passionate about STEM communication and outreach for underrepresented communities; she has led the Hispanic Latinx Network employee resource group, developed a mentoring program, and taught a workshop through Lincoln Laboratory's Girls' Innovation Research Lab program.

Cuevas received a BS in computer engineering at Cornell University, and has taken graduate coursework in Computational Perception and Robotics at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
