Jonathan P. Doane

Dr. Jonathan Doane is a member of the technical staff in the RF Technology Group. His research includes RF signal processing, digital beamforming, wideband phased arrays, simultaneous transmit and receive systems, and distributed radar systems.

Prior to joining the RF Technology Group he was a senior research engineer at Rockwell Collins, Inc., where he developed compact datalink antennas. Doane received a 2019 R&D 100 Award for his work on Aperture-Level Simultaneous Transmit and Receive Phased Arrays, and won the best student paper award at the 2012 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Symposium. He holds 14 U.S. patents and has published numerous articles on antenna and phased array technologies.

Doane received his PhD degree from The Ohio State University, and his BS and MS degrees from Michigan Technological University.
