Sheila Alemany Blanco

Dr. Sheila Alemany Blanco is a technical staff member in the Artificial Intelligence Technology and Systems Group. She joined MIT Lincoln Laboratory in 2024 with a focus on developing robust natural language processing and computer vision intelligent systems. Her primary research interests broadly include the robustness, explainability, and interpretability of machine learning technologies. She received a BS degree in mathematics and BS in computer science in 2019, an MS degree in telecommunications and networking in 2022, and a PhD degree in computer science in 2023, all from Florida International University. Her graduate work was supported by the National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship Program and the National GEM Consortium.
