Linh Pham

Dr. Linh M. Pham is Technical Staff in the Quantum Information and Integrated Nanosystems Group, where she currently leads research in developing high-sensitivity sensors for defense-related object detection and biomedical applications.

Before joining the Laboratory, Pham held a postdoctoral position at Harvard University, wherein she developed methods for performing NV-based nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and imaging of nanoscale samples. This postdoctoral work built upon her previous thesis work, where she designed and built several of the first NV magnetic sensing apparatuses, employed advanced control sequences to study the NV spin environment, and demonstrated a number of measurement schemes for improving NV magnetic field sensitivity.

Pham has published a total of 15 papers, 4 as first author and is a co-inventor of 1 issued patent.

Pham received her PhD in applied physics from Harvard University and dual BS degrees in physics and computer engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
